- The most likely cause of a blank screen on power up are the
- following:-
- 1. 6510 microprocessor
- 2. 82S 100 programable logic array
- 3. 901226 basic ROM
- 4. 901227 kernal ROM
- 5. 8701 ic clock generator
- 6. 4164 memory RAM
- 7. lastly the most frequent fault on Commodores the PSU
- all of these items could be causing the fault, but first try to
- borrow a substitute PSU first and see if that rectifies the fault.
